If you're not familiar the term, Set Items are in essence strong equipment pieces that give greater power when they are put together. They're 'set' as they provide the exact benefits, and because, well, they come as part of a set. They were initially introduced by Diablo 2, though it was only in Diablo 3 that they were the most dominant. It remains to be seen how they'll affect Diablo 4's meta. Diablo 4 meta should they occur, however we have no doubt that their influence on the Sanctuary's unfurling fashion scene will be greatly felt.

This Diablo 4 beta hasn't convinced me yet, but I'm looking forward to playing further (Set Items or not).
